At Centreon, we make the world run on IT: we provide an IT monitoring platform to enable digital performance and modern IT operations excellence. And we have Open Source in our DNA!

I lead the technical teams of the company, and together, we are responsible for delivering our solutions as SaaS and on-premises (R&D, SRE, data science, etc.). Information Security (with the CISO and their team) is also in the perimeter I cover.

The Asset & Fleet product line consists of solutions in the areas of CMMS/EAM (CARL Source, ATAL) and fleet management (InfoParc SIP2).

I lead the product management and R&D teams for these products (70+ people), and am responsible of the long-term strategy of the product line and of the budget to implement this strategy and the products.

I am a member of the "CODIR" (steering committee/management committee) of Berger-Levrault France and of CARL.

The Container Ecosystem team has a mandate to innovate with upstream projects as part of the broader communities related to containers.

While being enrolled in the Executive MBA programme of EM Lyon, I stayed in a role with less responsibilities.

After SUSE completed the acquisition of Rancher Labs in December 2020, I led the EMEA part of the Container Ecosystem team. In just about three months, we started projects such as Carrier (a new take on PaaS on top of Kubernetes), Chimera (a Kubernetes dynamic admission controller using WebAssembly for policies), Hypper (a package manager on top of Helm), cOS (an immutable adaptable Linux distribution) and more.

Container Ecosystem Engineering Manager

The Platform team was producing the SUSE Cloud Application Platform product, which is a Cloud Foundry-based solution for application delivery in the cloud.

Having taken the decision to enroll in the Executive MBA programme of EM Lyon, I accepted to temporarily move to a role with less responsibilities, in which I was leading the EMEA engineering team for the Platform organization.

The Cloud Group was producing the SUSE OpenStack Cloud product, an OpenStack-based solution for private clouds in the enterprise.
This role was a continuation of my previous role, with an expanded scope of Chief Product Owner. In this role, I worked on restructuring this engineering group of 90 engineers, with a revamped agile setup.

The Cloud Group was producing the SUSE OpenStack Cloud product, an OpenStack-based solution for private clouds in the enterprise.
Following the acquisition from HPE of the Helion OpenStack team, I successfully worked on the integration of the two teams as well as the merge of our two OpenStack products. To this end, I established the Program Management Team. In this role, I was in charge of the work of the Cloud group (90 engineers), of the coordination of the product development, of the relationships with tier zero customers and partners, and of the definition of our development workflow. I was also acting as one of the public faces of our SUSE OpenStack Cloud product.

The Cloud Team was producing the SUSE OpenStack Cloud product, an OpenStack-based solution for private clouds in the enterprise.
Being both the project manager and the product owner for SUSE OpenStack Cloud, I worked on the planning and execution for the product, from its early inception to its final delivery. I coordinated the work of the Cloud team (25 engineers) and I was the main point of contact for the product within the R&D organization, for internal stakeholders as well as customers and strategic partners.

The Cloud Team was producing the SUSE Cloud product, an OpenStack-based solution for private clouds in the enterprise.
I joined the team to strengthen the team's upstream involvement in OpenStack.

OpenStack Developer

The goal of the openSUSE Boosters team was to grow the openSUSE community by enabling it. This team was responsible of the most visible part of the open source strategy around openSUSE at SUSE.

I was appointed Chairman for my last term in the Board of Directors. As Chairman, I ensured we had productive meetings and worked on keeping the Board moving during the whole year. The Board Chairman also serves as President of the Foundation.

The GNOME Team works on integrating GNOME and many more technologies and applications in openSUSE. We are responsible of roughly 10% of the packages in openSUSE.

As a team lead in a team of volunteers, I'm monitoring the overall health of our team and the quality of what we produce, making sure that we always move forward.
