Vincent Mendes

Vincent Mendes is a driven individual who, from a young age, showed a diverse range of interests and ambitions. Starting his journey with a desire to become a journalist at the age of 8, Vincent began by writing and publishing articles in local newspapers. Despite his early ambitions shifting towards becoming a fighter pilot when he turned 11, his path eventually led him to pursue engineering studies.

Throughout his academic journey, Vincent excelled in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences at Lycée Saint Louis before furthering his education with a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Ecole nationale supérieure d'Arts et Métiers. His pursuit of knowledge also led him to obtain a Master of Project Management in Engineering from Université du Québec à Rimouski.

Driven by a desire to create value and embark on a fulfilling entrepreneurial journey, Vincent co-founded Aster in 2014. Aster, formerly known as Entrup, has had several notable achievements, including partnerships with renowned companies like Microsoft, successful fundraising rounds, and recognition in prestigious competitions for business transformation.

Vincent Mendes has also gained valuable experience through various roles, including serving as a Project Management Consultant intern at Gouvernement du Québec-Carrières, being a Member of the Executive Board at Comité entrepreneurial Uqar, and undertaking engineering internships at Orange Business Services and Snecma.

His passion for entrepreneurship and fostering teamwork through technology has been a driving force behind his work at Aster. Vincent's journey exemplifies his dedication to creating enduring value, building strong human connections, and making a positive impact on the business landscape.
