Vinay Subramanian is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience as an investor, operator, and entrepreneur in various geographies like the U.S., India, and MENA.

His expertise lies in managing venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) funds, with a focus on investing in sectors such as logistics technology, AI, deeptech, consumer fintech, and SaaS.

With a rich professional background, Vinay has held significant roles including Managing Director at Stakeboat Capital, Investment banker at Goldman Sachs, Director of Corporate Ventures at Flipkart, and engineering positions at Schlumberger.

Currently pursuing a PhD at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, his academic research involves scaling deeptech ventures and studying entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging economies.

Vinay Subramanian holds degrees from prestigious institutions like MIT, IIT Madras, and the University of Maryland. He actively mentors in deeptech ecosystems, notably at the IIT Madras Incubation Cell.
