Vikraman Venu

Vikraman Venu has been actively involved in the incubation space since August 2011, where he has led the development and management of various grant funding programs for startups in healthcare, hardware, medtech, and biotech sectors, accumulating a total corpus of USD 20 million or INR 140 Crore.

Vikraman Venu is the founding CEO of IKP EDEN in Bangalore and has been instrumental in establishing K-Tech Innovation Hubs in different parts of Karnataka such as Mangalore, Belgaum, Jalahalli, Mysore, and Shimoga.

Combining three years of Bioinformatics experience in software engineering, business development, and marketing, Vikraman Venu has a diverse skill set that he brought to his roles prior to joining IKP.

Education-wise, Vikraman Venu holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Duke University and a Dual Degree in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Throughout his career, Vikraman Venu has held key positions in renowned organizations such as CEO at IKP EDEN, Senior Vice President at IKP Knowledge Park, Product Analyst, Bioinformatics Applications Engineer, Business Development Associate, and Associate at Strand Life Sciences. He has also served as a Research Assistant at Fuqua School of Business, Project Associate at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Intern Consultant at KLA Tencor Corporation, Teaching Assistant at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Intern at General Electric Company Ltd.
