Vikram Gupta

Vikram Gupta is the Founder and Managing Partner of IvyCap Ventures Advisors Private Limited, a prominent venture capital firm based in India. Established with a focus on leveraging alumni networks, IvyCap Ventures manages a fund size of approximately USD 530 million (around INR 4200 crore) and has invested in over 50 innovative companies across various sectors, including HealthTech, FinTech, EdTech, and ConsumerTech.135

Education and Career Background

Vikram Gupta holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. His professional journey spans more than 30 years, during which he has gained extensive experience in private equity, venture capital, business consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and operations across diverse industries such as healthcare and technology.134

Before founding IvyCap Ventures, Gupta was a founding member of a USD 100 million healthcare-focused private equity fund sponsored by Piramal Group, which he successfully raised during the financial turmoil of 2008. He also played a pivotal role in establishing India's first endowment fund at IIT Delhi, inaugurated by the President of India in 2019.135
