Vikas Aggarwal is a veteran entrepreneur and technology executive with a career spanning over 20 years in Cloud and IT infrastructure monitoring software. Currently, he serves as COO and Head of GTM at Sensu, Inc., and as an advisor to several early-stage companies on go-to-market, sales, & product strategy.
Aggarwal has successfully led two software startups in the monitoring space to profitable exits. His last startup, Zyrion, experienced high growth and profitability with MSPs and cloud providers before its acquisition by Kaseya & Insight Venture Partners. Earlier, he was the founder & CEO of Fidelia, a venture-backed software company in the network management space, where he grew the company until its acquisition by Network General, where he remained as VP of Product Management before its acquisition by Netscout.
As one of the early pioneers in the internet industry, Vikas was operationally responsible for the NSFnet backbone in Princeton during the ARPAnet transition. After the acquisition of his company by NTT Verio, he was involved in designing and planning large data centers. Aggarwal is also an author of the RFC-1291 and the open-source NOCOL infrastructure monitoring software and holds two patents in distributed network management technology.
He studied M.S., Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology and B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering at Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology.
