Vijay Kiran

Vijay Kiran is a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer with vast experience working in the computer software industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology, and an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Kiran has worked on various projects in Big Data Engineering, Scala, Clojure, and Agile Methodologies.

Throughout his career, Kiran has worked with several reputable organizations, including Payvision, ING, Werkspot, Sdu, Thoughtvine Solutions, Lunatech, Hippo, Oracle, and Quark Software Inc. He has held various roles such as Head of Data Services, Lead Data Engineer, Senior Developer/Consultant, Architect/Team Lead (Big Data and Machine Learning), Scrum Master/Team Lead, and Engineer R&D, among others.

In addition to his work experience, Kiran has also co-hosted a Clojure Podcast called defn.audio, where he shared his insights and knowledge about Clojure programming.
