Victoria DeRooy is a talented Mechanical Designer currently working at Quasar Consulting Group with an extensive background in mechanical engineering and construction project management. She studied Honors Bachelor of Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering Co-op at the prestigious University of Waterloo before embarking on a career that has taken her to various high profile organizations across Canada, such as WSP in Canada, St. Michael's Hospital, BWX Technologies, Inc., and MMM Group, among others. Her expertise in mechanical building systems engineering, nuclear life cycle engineering, and water resources team leading has made her a well-rounded and versatile professional in the field. Her interest in building systems and construction led her to work at Orlando Corporation as an Assistant Construction Project Manager and as a Mechanical Building Systems Engineer at Stantec.
