Victor Saad is a well-known author, educator, and community builder based in Chicago. In 2012, he pioneered a unique educational approach known as The Leap Year Project, where he completed 12 projects in 12 months to earn his own Masters degree. This initiative concluded with a graduation event hosted at a local TEDx and the publication of a book focusing on community stories and the value of learning through taking risks.
Following the success of The Leap Year Project, Victor Saad co-founded Experience Institute, an organization dedicated to helping students and professionals enhance their skills and knowledge through hands-on projects and immersive experiences. This initiative brought together a group of talented educators and leaders with a shared vision of transformative education.
Victor Saad's contributions to the field of education were recognized when he was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2015 for his innovative work. Subsequently, in 2017, he joined Stanford University's School of Engineering as a Lecturer in Design, where he assists students in rethinking their educational journeys by emphasizing experiential learning.
His educational background includes studies in Design, Business & Social Change at The Leap Year Project and Education, Communications at MBI. Victor Saad has been involved in various organizations, serving as the Founder & CEO of Experience Institute and holding roles such as Co-Director at Experience Lab, Lecturer in Design at Stanford University, Creator of The Leap Year Project, and Director at The Prop among others.
