    Victor Kane

    Victor Scott Kane is the Deputy Director for Commercialization Programs at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).2 He works with DOE Program Offices and National Laboratories to develop and manage external commercialization funding programs and activities.2 Kane is responsible for implementing several key programs, including the Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF), Energy I-Corps, and the Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC).12

    Before joining the DOE, Kane worked at General Electric and the solar cell startup Suniva.1 He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration, all from the Georgia Institute of Technology.12
