Victor Bahl

Victor Bahl is a Technical Fellow and Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft, where he has been a part of the Senior Leadership Team for Microsoft Research Redmond Lab. Bahl has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Buffalo. He also studied at the Modern School in Barakhamba Road.

Bahl has worked on a variety of notable projects at Microsoft, and contributed to many of their products. He has overseen 200+ researchers, engineers, and staff at the Redmond Lab, where he has built one of the strongest and most respected research groups in the world. He also founded or co-founded several conferences, including SIGMOBILE, MobiSys, and MobiCom. Bahl has served on advisory boards for WUSTL, MIT, and UMD, and given keynotes at numerous events.
