Vicki Slavina

Vicki Slavina is a prominent executive in the field of operations and strategy, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Koala, an Australian furniture and home goods company. She has held this position since February 2023, after previously serving as the Vice President of Operations from March 2021 to February 2023. In her role at Koala, she leads a team of over 60 professionals across various functions including customer service, fulfillment, and strategy across multiple countries such as Australia, Japan, and Korea. Her responsibilities include overseeing logistics budgets and ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.1

Before joining Koala, Vicki had an extensive career at McKinsey & Company, where she worked for over seven years in various roles, including Associate Partner and Senior Business Analyst. Her experience also includes a brief stint in business operations at Canva and contract roles in product marketing at LinkedIn and sales operations at Doorsteps Group.1

Vicki holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (2011-2013) and a BA in Economics from Harvard University (2004-2008). Additionally, she completed the Company Director's Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2017.1 She is fluent in Russian and Spanish.1
