Viara Aprilova

Viara Aprilova has extensive experience in the e-Mobility industry with a focus on batteries and electric vehicles. Currently serving as the Director of MEB Platform/Battery at Volkswagen Group of America, Aprilova has played a key role in developing and implementing the company's electromobility strategy. Her expertise lies in battery technology, charging infrastructure, and e-Mobility business models. Prior to her current role, she served as the Director of EV Infrastructure and Strategy at Electrify America, where she led the development of the company's EV charging infrastructure network throughout the US. She also worked at BMW Group for over a decade in various capacities, including electric vehicle development and strategy. Aprilova holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University Munich and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Sofia University.
