Veronika Rozmahelova

Veronika Rozmahelova is a tech enthusiast with a strong passion for privacy and digital innovation. She holds a Master's degree from Columbia University and has a diverse background in both startup and corporate settings.

Veronika has extensive experience in data privacy regulations such as GDPR, PDPL, PDPA, and others, and has worked on public policy and campaigns across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with companies like Instagram/Facebook and PwC Middle East.

She is well-versed in policy analysis, digital strategy, e-government, Smart Cities, technology, and social media, with a focus on tech for social good. Veronika has been actively involved in various international projects, including founding a social good startup and leading e-Gov/Smart Cities strategies.

Veronika's educational background includes studies at Humboldt Universität, Freie Universität Berlin, University of Mississippi, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, and she obtained her Master's degree from Columbia University in the City of New York.

Currently, Veronika Rozmahelova serves as the AVP Data Protection at Bank ABC, contributing her expertise in data privacy engagements and helping clients navigate new privacy regulations.

Her career highlights also include being a Council of Women World Leaders Fellow in Liberia, organizing the Lennon Wall campaign during the Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong, and actively promoting independent media and journalism through her social good initiatives.
