Veronica Reaves is a Venture Associate with a diverse background in venture capital and consulting. She has held various roles in the investment sector, including her position at Spero Ventures, where she worked for a brief period in 2020. Following her time at Spero Ventures, she became a Senior Associate at Maveron LLC in November 2020 and subsequently transitioned to a Principal role at Serena Ventures in November 2022.
Education and Early Career
Reaves holds a degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Before entering the venture capital space, she worked at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, where she focused on innovation and strategy, helping connect startups with clients seeking innovative solutions. Her experience also includes roles at Kapor Capital and Impact America Fund, where she served as a Graduate Fellow, further developing her expertise in venture funding and investment strategy.
Current Endeavors
In addition to her work in venture capital, Reaves is involved in initiatives aimed at increasing diversity in the industry, such as the Black Women in Venture Capital network, which she actively promotes through her professional platforms.12
