Following this, she founded the Avestu Institute, a startup strategy think tank with locations in London, Berlin, and Munich. This institute supports founders in navigating the strategic challenges of entrepreneurship, utilizing a blend of classic forecasting tools and semi-quantitative methodologies.
In 2018, she crystallized her vision into Avestu Capital, which offers a dedicated Investor Readiness and Match-Making service. Verena has specialized in Investor Relations and fundraising since 2014, focusing on seed stages and Series A and B funding rounds. Additionally, she serves as a lecturer in Venture Capital and Finance at ISM Munich and is a Founding Partner of Mandatory Ventures, a fund of funds that invests in emerging managers in venture capital.
