Venkata Abbaraju

Venkata Abbaraju is a seasoned professional in the solar industry with over twelve years of experience, specializing in PV systems and data-driven approaches.

His expertise lies in testing, characterizing, developing, and managing various solar products and services, with a keen focus on problem-solving and collaboration.

Currently, Venkata holds the position of Director of Technical Product Management at NEXTracker, Inc., overseeing control systems, Data Hub, and TrueCapture product lines.

Prior to his current role, he served as Director of Engineering at Yingli Green Energy Americas, Inc., leading product management and after-sales support.

Venkata has a strong background in technology development, including work on Primestar Solar's CdTe module technology at GE Energy, which was later acquired by First Solar.

His educational qualifications include a master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, specializing in statistical quality & reliability, and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University.
