Veljko Sekelj

Veljko Sekelj is an award-winning technology professional with a passion for building websites, apps, user interfaces, and startups. With a deep understanding of technology and an equally deep love for Häagen-Dazs ice cream, Sekelj has worked with clients worldwide, winning accolades and recognition for his innovative and trend-setting work.

Sekelj's background includes studying Information Design and Electronic Media at Stuttgart Media University, Venture Finance at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Information Systems at FOi Varazdin, University of Zagreb. He has worked as a startup manager, IT consultant and founder, CTO at Enovant Inc., and project manager, UX design, and development freelancer.

Sekelj's innovative work has included building interactive maps that inspired Google Maps, voice-powered news aggregator for the blind, and digital magazine publishing systems. Sekelj's team went deep into JavaScript GPU rendering, concurrency, and workers. Sekelj wrote his master's thesis on reinventing digital magazines as apps. His work has won him numerous awards, including the Webby nomination and the biggest ones at South by Southwest Interactive, and recognition as a Young Innovator of Baden-Württemberg and Axel Springer Media Entrepreneur.
