With decades of experience, her career encompasses numerous roles, including ACT Team Psychiatrist at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and formerly an attending psychiatrist at notable hospitals such as Jamaica Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and Mary Immaculate Hospital.
Additionally, her experience extends to administrative and leadership roles, having served as President and Owner of New York Psychiatry & Cognitive Care, P.C., where she utilized her expertise to further the practice of community psychiatry. Dr. Kalasapudi obtained her medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.), from the prestigious Andhra Medical College. Following her undergraduate education, she embarked on a journey of specialized training, earning her fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Her research experience spans across renowned institutions, including L'Hopital Cochin in Paris and The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Moreover, she was a Foundation Nord-Sud Fellow at L'Hopital Cochin, allowing her to expand her international perspective in geriatric psychiatry.
