Vassilis Houssiadas is a highly experienced Chartered Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in transportation infrastructure and land development projects. With over 18 years of experience in Greece, New Zealand, Australia, and Albania, Vassilis has been involved in project management, design analyses, reporting, and construction monitoring for a diverse range of projects. With technical skills primarily in site reconnaissance, ground modeling, soil and rock slope stability, landslides, earthworks, foundation design, and hazard assessment, Vassilis has contributed to the successful completion of over 1000 km of motorway projects in northern Greece, including highly unstable and seismically active terrains.

During his time with Coffey International Ltd, Vassilis managed designs, construction inspections, and earthworks certification for infrastructure and land development projects in Australia and New Zealand. Some of his notable projects include the Hamilton bypass motorway and a motorway project north of Auckland, where he provided landslide and rock cut assessments. He also gained experience in geotechnical hazard assessment, consulting, and structuring of a concession contract for the privatization of a 115 km-long motorway in Albania.

Vassilis is committed to providing optimized engineering solutions that meet project requirements and local conditions, ultimately benefiting clients and the community. Although he is currently taking a break to attend to family matters, he looks forward to challenging and exciting new projects in the near future.
