Vasilis Baimas

Vasilis Baimas is a dedicated User Experience (UX) designer with a passion for creating functional and delightful user experiences. His journey in design started during his college studies and has since evolved into a career focused on problem-solving and user satisfaction.

With a background in web and visual design, Vasilis transitioned to UX design to further enhance his skills and embrace the full scope of the design thinking process. He approaches projects by asking 'WHY' instead of 'WHAT', prioritizing user needs and empathy throughout the design process.

Combining his science-based background with data-driven research, empathy, and critical thinking, Vasilis excels in creating meaningful and valuable experiences for both users and businesses. His experience working with various agencies and companies has allowed him to cultivate creative collaborations and expand his skill set.

Outside of work, Vasilis is an active individual who enjoys running, cooking healthy meals, contributing to open-source projects, photography, and learning new things. He is deeply interested in empowering communities through volunteering.

Education-wise, Vasilis has studied Design thinking / UX & UI Design at The Interaction Design Foundation and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Multimedia. He also completed High School Diplomas in Computer Systems & Software Engineering and Computer Science.

Professionally, Vasilis currently works as a UX/Product Designer as a freelancer. He has prior experience as a UX Researcher at wplemon, Product Designer at emarsity, Visual Designer at Traffic Expert, and Web Designer.
