Vani Desai is a visionary technologist and software architect with over twenty-plus years of experience in leading the design and development of software applications for various industries.

Currently, she is spearheading the development of industrial IoT applications with a focus on reference architecture, vertical solutions for Energy, Smart buildings, Manufacturing, and standards definition with Industry peers.

Passionate about transforming data into insights, Vani enjoys working with the complete data life cycle, from acquiring IoT sensor data to securing data both in transit and at rest, as well as providing role-based access and exposing data for analysis.

Vani's specialties include hands-on experience across the entire IoT technology stack, leadership abilities in coordinating project phases, developing Microservices and container-based architecture for Digital modernization, expertise in M2M communication, data interoperability standards, IoT systems, real-time process control, embedded OS, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in agile SCRUM methodology.

She pursued her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat.
