    Dr. Vangelis Lympouridis is a prominent figure in Innovation by Design, Immersive Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality (XR) technologies, and Big Data.

    With a Ph.D in Whole Body Interaction from the University of Edinburgh, Vangelis operates at the intersection of academia and industry in sectors like healthcare, education, entertainment, and social enterprise.

    As the founder of Enosis VR, he spearheads innovation, R&D, and advisory services, collaborating with prestigious academic institutions like the London School of Economics, USC, and ASU, and industry giants including HP Labs, Google, and Dolby.

    Vangelis led the creation of the Bohemian Rhapsody VR Experience in partnership with Google and the band Queen, showcasing the potential of immersive music in virtual reality.

    Previously, as the Chief Design Officer at Applied VR, he oversaw the development of Medical Virtual Reality therapeutic products, notably contributing to the FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for the EaseVR platform in 2020.

    An active contributor to the immersive tech community, Vangelis organizes the MedVR initiative on the West Coast, fostering the application of immersive technologies in healthcare.

    He shares his expertise as faculty at the Viterbi School of Engineering, teaching courses on AR/VR and Mixed Reality, and as a visiting scholar at the School of Cinematic Arts.

    Vangelis's background encompasses Systems Design, Rapid Prototyping, Interactive Media, Design Theory, HCI, and Engineering, reflecting his diverse skill set and experience.

    He has a rich educational background, including a PhD in Whole Body Interaction Design, an MSc in Sound Design and Interactive Media, and a BFA in Sculpture and Environmental Art.
