Working closely with the GM, EMEA & APAC, I operate in a Chief of Staff capacity.  My role sits within EMEA & APAC to ensure consistency in our region comparatively to the North American business.  I work alongside all global operations teams, from L&D, HR, Finance, MarComm, Talent Acquisition, Search Operations and Practice Business Managers to ensure successful execution internationally of all new and existing processes.

Project Manager, EMEA & APAC (maternity cover)

I worked alongside the wider Marketing and Communications team, covering North America, EMEA and APAC.  My overarching role was to facilitate meaningful conversations between the business and employees and support and endorse True's vision, ambition, culture and values.  

I supported the business by providing internal communication touch points to engage, inform, educate, connect, motivate and inspire.  My specific areas of focus were the people business function (i.e. HR Operations, L&D, Culture, and Diversity & Inclusion), as well as APAC & EMEA specific changes and events (e.g. search structure changes, town halls, off-sites, etc.).

Manager, Internal Communications

Alongside my generalist HR duties (e.g. employee relations, salary reviews, etc.), I developed into a semi-specialist role focusing on learning and development, emerging talent initiatives, diversity and inclusion, as well as managing team-wide projects such as our firm-wide employee engagement survey.  I was also responsible for the line management of two team members, the HR Advisor and the Recruitment Advisor.

Training
- Establish the training needs across the business.
- Manage the performance management process across the firm. 
- Delivery of training, including Resilience, Mentoring, Communication and more.
- Liaison with external training providers to establish training programmes.
- Liaison with internal colleagues regarding training needs, e.g. our BD & Marketing team or Compliance team to ensure the effective roll-out of their training programmes.

Projects
The projects I managed varied; a sample consisted of reviewing our ESG policy (specifically social), conducting workshops to gain employee feedback on female development, managing the firm-wide employee engagement survey, salary review process, etc.  Consistent projects included:
- chairing the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and driving initiatives and communications.
- managing all emerging talent initiatives and campaigns, from our graduate programme, apprenticeships and interns, including Change100 and 10,000 Black Interns.
- being the Firm's representative contact officer for RICS, the industry's professional body, ensuring all compliance and membership operations were dealt with effectively.

HR Projects and Training Manager

Gerald Eve provides property consultancy services to investors, occupiers and developers. We operate a national network of nine offices and an International Alliance, with partner firms covering 20 European countries and all major US markets. Our specialist sectors include industrial and logistics, alternative markets, the London office market, public sector and corporate real estate services.

My role as HR Manager is to provide HR generalist support to the Retail, Industrial and Offices business groups, as well as the national offices, Corporate Property Management, Alternative Markets/Leisure and Minerals departments.  The support provided included all employee relations matters (e.g. handling redundancies, TUPE's, performance management, disciplinaries and grievances, as well as appeals), recruitment, salary and bonus reviews, wellbeing and more.

As part of my wider remit, I was responsible for all emerging talent initiatives and overseeing training and development.  I am a member of Property Needs You, a sub-group of Changing the Face of Property network which aims to diversify the industry.

Reply is made up of a network of highly specialised companies, which support leading industrial groups in defining and developing business models to optimise and integrate processes, applications and devices, using new technology and communication paradigms, such as Big Data; Cloud Computing; Digital Communication; Internet of Things; Mobile and Social Networking.

My role as Senior HR Officer is to work with the Partners across the 13 companies (c. 500 employees) in the Reply UK, Benelux and France network to effectively manage their human resources throughout the employee lifecycle framework.

Its business is focused on major transport, social and environmental infrastructure projects awarded under governmental public-private partnership (PPP) programmes, and renewable energy projects, across a range of international markets including the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.

As HR Advisor, I supported all divisions within the UK and overseas (Australia, USA and the Netherlands) with everything from employee relations matters, recruitment, reward and benefits, policies, learning and development, HR systems management, payroll, budget management and event management.

As well as providing secretarial support (i.e. diary/email management, travel arrangements, general administration) for the General Manager of Finance and the wider finance group, I was also responsible for:
* the banking of cheques;
* managing the company's telecommunications needs;
* assisting with the reward and recognition events;
* providing support and contributing to the company's internal communications, including writing articles for the internal magazine;
* ensuring payment requisitions and expense reimbursements follow process and get paid;
* providing secondment support to the Executive Assistant for the Managing Director, HR Coordinator, Accounts Receivable Clerk and Mailroom Clerk; and
* fulfilling the secretary role for the Company's social club account.

Executive Assistant - GM Finance

My main role at QPCU involved writing, creating and editing the monthly member's newsletters as well as providing support to the Board of Directors in the way of managing their meetings and collating the Board report. I was solely responsible for all marketing initiatives and built strong business relationships with external third companies.
