Vamberszky Klaus

Vamberszky Klaus is an accomplished R&D Manager in the lighting industry with a solid background in technology and strategic marketing.

He began his career as a Design Engineer at Zumtobel Lighting and progressed to leading significant projects, developing standard products, and offering custom solutions.

With over two decades of experience, Vamberszky has excelled in various roles within the Zumtobel Group, including Executive Vice President Technology and CTO, Head of R&D Lighting, Head of Strategic Marketing, Head of Luminaire Development, and Head of Research.

His expertise extends to restructuring operations, managing mergers and acquisitions, serving on boards of industry organizations like DIAL and Lighting Europe, and holding supervisory board positions at Tridonic and Zumtobel Lighting US.

Vamberszky is actively involved in Intellectual Property Management and cross-licensing negotiations while demonstrating a profound understanding of Asian LED suppliers and culture.

He holds a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau Verfahrensingeníeurwesen from Technische Universität Wien.

Currently, as SVP Strategy & Transformation at Zumtobel Group, Vamberszky Klaus continues to drive innovation and lead transformation in the lighting industry.
