Valeriy Cherkashyn, PhD, is an experienced professional with a passion for managing, planning, analytics, and consulting in various fields such as Research & AI, IT, R&D, Data Science, BI & PM, and Data & Marketing Stats.

With 8 years of progressive R&D experience, Valeriy is skilled in intelligent technologies and techniques related to Data Science, AI, ANN, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Inverse Pyramidal Representation, particularly applied to Very High Definition Satellite Images.

In addition to his technical expertise, he has over 8 years of experience in Management, including Administration, Marketing, and Sales, and is fluent in English, French, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Valeriy Cherkashyn holds a PhD in Remote Sensing with a specialization in GIS and Applied Geomatics, Image Processing, as well as a PhD in Automated Systems for Data Processing and Management with a focus on Telecommunications and Expert Systems.

He has been actively involved in scientific projects in IT&C, Advanced Technologies, and has recently contributed to data collection at Statistics Canada.

Valeriy is proficient in various programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Visual Basic, MS SQL Server, PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, and XHTML/HTML/CSS.

His expertise extends to Image Processing tools including ArcGIS, PCI Geomatics, and Matlab, where he is skilled in Image Processing, Neural Network toolbox, and Statistics.

Education-wise, Valeriy pursued his PhD in Remote Sensing with a focus on Digital Image Processing Stream at Université de Sherbrooke, and a Ph.D. in Automated Systems for Data Processing and Management with a concentration on Image Processing, AI, and ANN at the Technical University of Sofia.

He also holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science specializing in Software of automated systems from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, as well as certifications in marketing, organization of Foreign Economic Activities, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
