Valerie Farber is an accomplished designer, strategic planner, and jazz vocalist with over 15 years of experience. She holds a BArch from Syracuse University and has completed the Kauffman FastTrac New Ventures Program Certificate. Valerie's expertise lies in bridging the communication and design gap between architect, client, and consultant. She has worked on projects varying in size and complexity ranging from a 100,000 sq ft Performing Arts Center to a 400 sq ft minimal-footprint home. Valerie's work involves a process that combines human-centered design, ethnographic research, and storytelling. She works closely with social entrepreneurs, good cause organizations, and companies striving to create local and global change.

Valerie is also a jazz vocalist with over 20 years of experience. Her career in music has informed and supported every aspect of her design career, honing communication, and leadership skills. Valerie currently performs as a leader in the greater New York City area and curates an hour-long performance called "Song Sonnets," during which she tells a story through music.

Valerie has worked with several organizations as a designer and strategic planner, including Spatial Medium, Swanke Hayden Connell Architects, LMN Architects, Vfarber Studio, Perkins Eastman, and Kramer Hutchison. She was also a community animator at Centre For Social Innovation (CSI) and the founder and instructor at Aquakula.
