Vaibhav Kulkarni

Vaibhav Kulkarni is a prominent figure in the technology and investment sectors, currently serving as the Founding Member, Lead & Investor at GIT1K, a role he has held since February 2022. GIT1K is an angel syndicate composed of product-driven leaders in engineering, data, and cybersecurity, focusing on growth-stage to Fortune 1000 companies.

In addition to his work at GIT1K, Kulkarni is also the VP of Engineering & Data Science at PepsiCo, where he has been employed since August 2021. His responsibilities include overseeing software engineering, infrastructure engineering, and data science initiatives. Prior to this, he held various engineering leadership roles at PepsiCo, including Head of Engineering, Data Products & Infrastructure.

Kulkarni has a strong educational background, holding a Master of Science in Computer Networking from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He is also a Senior Member of the IEEE and has served as an advisor and investor for various startups since 2016. His extensive experience spans multiple companies in the tech industry, including Quotient Technology Inc. and Yahoo, where he has led significant projects in machine learning and software engineering.1
