Vahid Monadjem

Vahid Monadjem is the founder and former CEO of Nomanini, a South African-based payments platform provider specializing in the cash-based informal retail sector. His passion lies in harnessing technology and design to impact people's lives in informal markets.

Vahid's vision for Nomanini focuses on empowering local partners to tailor transaction platforms to their unique environments, with a goal of facilitating transactions in emerging markets.

With a background in engineering, Vahid Monadjem has a wealth of experience in innovation and product design. He previously served as McKinsey & Company's global fellow for Emerging Market Product Development, working across diverse industries in various regions including Africa, South East Asia, North America, and Europe.

Vahid Monadjem's educational journey includes studies at Waterford Kamhlaba and obtaining BCOM and BSc degrees from the University of Cape Town. He also pursued an International Baccalaureate at Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA.

In addition to his role at Nomanini, Vahid Monadjem serves as a Non-Executive Director at Inclusivity Solutions. He has held positions at McKinsey & Company, including as a Consultant and as a Mechanical Engineer at XYZ Design. Moreover, he was a Founding Member at One Over Zero Product Development.
