Head of Software and Underwriting 

Managed functions across DevOps and next-generation AI for C++ and image processing organization, leading global team of 40+ across US and Ukraine. Guided AI deployment for image processing, leveraging convolutional neural networks (CNN), recurrent neural networks (RNN), TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, NumPY, and Ansys- and SimPHY-based physics simulations. Represented company at major conferences and trade groups.

•	DevOps: Led engineering of motion control code for semiconductor microscope inspection on behalf of leading customers including Micron, Intel, and Western Digital. Drove strategy to optimize workflow and enhance image processing by improving speed and reducing image defects through continuous image capture. 
•	Next-Generation AI: Coordinated whole-factory automation, workflow development, and process optimization, enabling seamless growth of development team by 3X, 30% expansion of number of customer sites, and reduction of number of critical bugs from 100 to 0 in 6 months.

Nanotronics

Vice President of Research & Software Development 

Owned 3 products as vice president of product development, guiding their development, continuous improvement, manufacturing, testing, quality control, and go-to-market (GTM) functions. Oversaw application development utilizing React, Django, Swift, and Java and spearheaded performance reviews of existing applications. Built products for numerous licenses brands, engaging with major suppliers such as Foxconn, Chicony, and Alps Electric and industrial design companies including Ammunition Group. 

•	Drove $100M in annual revenue by spearheading full end-to-end design, manufacturing, and launch of Polaroid Snap, Snap Touch, Hoop, and Pop in 9 months, managing all US user interface (UI) teams.
•	Hired and directed development team in design of new, optimized workflow for Polaroid IP camera’s image processing, flow, and compression.

C & A Marketing, Inc.

Director of Research & Development – Kodak, Polaroid, & Stanley Tools

Recruited to implement proper, pharma-level production quality controls for non-sterile pharmaceutical compounding operation, driving efficiency and productivity through creation of new SOPs and extensive documentation. Managed business planning, laboratory production, logistics, facilities, quality control, and procurement. Led team of 6 pharmacists, 20 technicians, and 20 drivers across company while seeing 2.5X team growth and 2X production growth during tenure.

•	Ensured regulatory compliance by securing company’s first approval from Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB), establishing new standards that proved operations were safe and efficient.
•	Implemented 24-hour operations and reduced waste by 50% by optimizing laboratory production process and introducing company-managed courier service.

Mega Aid Compounding Pharmacy

Director of Compound Production & Logistics Services

Developed initial concept and design for automated histopathology machine, guiding strategic concept, location, and design of laboratory space and hiring of 3 image processing scientists and 2 technicians. Established all operational processes and protocols and managed relationships with key customers, collaborating with strategic partners Biogen and Columbia.

•	Created concept and design and coordinated manufacturing of new automated histopathology machine currently generating $30M-$40M annual revenue.
•	Secured grant funding from leading government agencies to ensure necessary capital for business success, obtaining $125K during phase 1 and $1M in phase 2.
