Uwella Rubuga

Uwella Rubuga, a graduate of Carey Business School at The Johns Hopkins University, has a remarkable background in business consultancy, project management, finance, market research, and strategic planning. She has demonstrated her extensive experience and expertise in the field when she joined several organizations at Carey Business School, including the Johns Hopkins Graduate Consulting Club, Women In Business, and Business Analytics and Risk Management Organization. She is also a former finance coordinator at Vacasa and a finance intern at CrowdStreet in Portland, Oregon. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science from Lewis and Clark College.

When she was ten, Uwella unwittingly developed her strategic thinking and problem-solving skills when her mom started a boutique business, and she assisted her mom by offering suggestions on how to improve the boutique's business models. Throughout her career, Uwella has projected leadership, collaboration, adaptability, analytical reasoning, and excellent communication skills during case competitions and networking events.

Beyond academics, Uwella is a passionate outdoors enthusiast, an intrepid traveler, and an avid photographer. Her love for the outdoors has given her the opportunity to hone her problem-solving skills and become a better leader and team player when faced with obstacles or traveling with groups.
