Dr. Utku Solpuker is a highly accomplished geologist with a PhD in Geology specialized in geochemistry and petrology from the University of Cincinnati. He has a rich academic background and extensive research experience in various prestigious institutions.
During his post-doctoral tenure at The Ohio State University and UCL, Dr. Solpuker focused on diverse research areas such as industrial waste sequestration, concrete hydration modeling, numerical modeling, variable density flow analysis, and development of slow-release solids for environmental applications.
His expertise extends to conducting AAPG training on well logging, reservoir evaluation, and geocellular modeling in unconventional reservoirs. Dr. Solpuker has also shared his knowledge as a visiting lecturer at OSU and St. Mary's University, Twickenham, and as adjunct faculty at Columbus State Community College.
Prior to his academic roles, Dr. Solpuker gained valuable industry experience as an exploration geologist at Rio Tinto Mining and Exploration Ltd. and Anatolia Minerals Development Ltd. His professional journey also includes internships at the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO).
