Utkarsh Shukla

Utkarsh Shukla is a self-motivated graduate student specializing in machine learning, deep learning, interactive intelligent systems, and robotics at the University at Buffalo.

He has a strong interest in mathematics and has worked on various projects involving graph neural networks, action units, image net models, spatial temporal action recognition, actor critic, and reinforcement learning.

His primary programming experience lies in Python for Deep Learning (Tensorflow and PyTorch) and Graph Neural Network, with additional familiarity in MATLAB and ROS.

Currently, Utkarsh is a Graduate Researcher at the AI Labs at the University at Sunny Buffalo, focusing on AI-related problems such as disease detection from images, rumor analysis on social media, and blockchain applications like Dapps and Ethereum contracts.

With a background that includes roles at Visa, First Round Fast Track, On Deck, Founders Network, Opnbx.ai, Schnackel Engineers, Inc., Techstars, University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Infosys, and the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Utkarsh possesses a diverse skill set and a wealth of experience in areas like machine learning engineering, mentoring, co-founding startups, data science, and full-stack development.
