Usman Shah

Usman Shah is a versatile multi-award-winning social entrepreneur with a strong professional background.

He founded Diversity Hut, a social enterprise focusing on inclusivity and diversity, which has created numerous jobs for disadvantaged individuals and consulted multinational organizations on diversity and inclusion.

With previous experience at Engineering Giant Costain, Usman held various senior roles including Quantity Surveying, Performance Management, and Innovation Manager, liaising with Thames Tideway as their Supply Chain Engagement and Diversity Lead.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Usman also founded The Date Company London, leveraging his passion for dates and successfully exiting the venture in 2020.

He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Quality Institute and holds a scholarship and certification in Digital Marketing from Google.

Usman is a fellow of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, having traveled globally to explore diversity initiatives and has been recognized with the 'Community Impact' award at the World Congress Of Muslim Philanthropists Awards.

His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying and Consultancy from Kingston University, along with additional studies in marketing and digital marketing.

Throughout his career, Usman held various leadership positions at renowned organizations such as Tarmac, Costain Group PLC, and Thames Tideway Tunnel.
