Uri Ferruccio is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various organizations.
He obtained his MA in Regional Studies - East Asia (China) from Harvard University, an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, and has also studied International Relations and Mandarin at Peking University as well as Political Science and Asian Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Uri has held prominent roles in several organizations, including being the Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board at PlaysOut, Chief Executive Officer at Concordia, Founding Partner at Metafor, Vice President for Business Development at Binance, and CEO and co-founder of Karakul, which was acquired in February 2019.
Additionally, he has served as the Director of Strategy and Investment in the AI Platform and Research Division, as well as the Founder and Director of the AI+ Innovation Studio at JD.COM.
His professional journey also includes roles such as Intrapreneur in Residence at JD.COM, Generalist at The D. E. Shaw Group, Visiting Researcher at Peking University as a Fulbright Scholar, and a Policy Associate at The Center for US Global Engagement.
