In addition to holding a high standard of technical excellence in the org, I lead large initiatives that impact our Security products and the security of GCP overall. My work involves setting technical direction and product strategy in close partnership with engineering, product, UX, and operations leads, interacting directly with customers and analysts, and driving execution.

Leading our efforts on AI and Security—applying AI to solve the biggest challenges facing the security industry, and ensuring the security of customers' AI workloads and data on GCP. 
Securing AI: AI security functionality across GCP + new standalone and Security Command Center-integrated capabilities for Gen AI protection. 
SecLM: our security-tuned GenAI API combining multiple bespoke models, reasoning, retrieval, and the latest threat intelligence to perform security tasks with minimal prompt engineering.
Gemini for Security: GenAI-powered features and capabilities across our product suite (SecOps, Threat Intelligence, Security Command Center, User Protection, and GCP Security).

Engineering lead for Google Assistant's Ecosystem team, including our external Actions on Google app platform; Duplex on the Web; and Assistant-wide services for Discovery, Identity, Transactions, and other APIs for connecting to our third-party partners across surfaces (Smart Displays and Speakers). Managing a team of as many as 180 engineers across Zurich, New York, and Mountain View.

Created and led the Data Protection engineering effort at Google, building global-scale security and privacy infrastructure (key management, authentication, authorization, auditing, code integrity, insider risk controls) used to protect user data by all products at the company including our Cloud platform. I also created the project to securely represent relationships between digital assets such as web sites and mobile apps using an open protocol - used in Android App Links, Smart Lock for Passwords, and Search. 

Most recently, I led the Access Transparency effort to give Google Cloud customers real-time logs when a person at Google has to access their data, unlocking approximately $900M in revenue.

Principal Engineer - Security and Privacy infrastructure

Worked on hardware-based remote attestation in the Linux kernel, along with automatic security policy inference.
