Dr Uli Sachs

Uli Sachs is a highly accomplished professional with an extensive background in law, privacy, and IT regulation. Sachs has studied law, philosophy of law, and economics at various universities across Germany and also learned Russian and French. She holds a Ph.D. in Law and Economics from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Sachs has gained significant experience in her field, having worked in multiple roles at Google over the years, ranging from Associate Product Counsel to her current role as Senior Product Counsel. Prior to joining Google, Sachs worked as a legal counsel at Kabel Deutschland and Bird & Bird LLP, among other organizations. Sachs has also worked as a Research Assistant at Humboldt University of Berlin and as an Assistant of Program Lead at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

As a Senior Product Counsel at Google, Sachs is responsible for providing legal advice that aligns with product development and business goals. She has extensive knowledge of privacy and data protection laws and regulations, and she provides guidance on these matters to Google's product and engineering teams.
