Uğur Kaner is an accomplished entrepreneur and product leader known for his outstanding design and engineering background. Before Collective, Kaner was the VP of Product Design at MBX, a Y Combinator-backed startup that revolutionizes the beauty and e-commerce industry. During his tenure, he built and led a team that designed an end-to-end seamless beauty and e-commerce shopping experience.
In 2013, Kaner moved to the US to be part of a team that built Udemy, one of the world's most extensive online education platforms, with over 40 million students globally. In 2010, he was the Head of Android Business at one of Finland's most prominent public telecom operators, Elisa, where he helped his team secure the largest Android market share in the country.
Kaner has also made significant contributions to Google Express and Angry Birds and was once listed among the "64 people you should know in design," together with design leaders of Uber, Stripe, Google, Airbnb, Facebook, Slack, Lyft, and Medium.
