Uday (UD) Wankawala, a prominent figure in the Indian Startup Ecosystem, has been actively engaged as a collaborator, facilitator, and motivator since 2010.
With a Post-Graduate degree in Management from the University of Mumbai, Uday is dedicated to nurturing and supporting New Age Entrepreneurs to drive innovation and technology in India.
Having an extensive background working with various organizations and incubators such as IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Stanford Seed, and IIT Bombay's Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Uday has substantial experience in outreach, partnerships, and fostering entrepreneurship ecosystems.
During his tenure, he has addressed over 50,000 students across 300+ academic campuses in India, focusing on entrepreneurship, and has actively contributed to initiatives like the National Entrepreneurship Awards Scheme by the Government of India.
Uday's passion for entrepreneurship extends beyond major cities, as he traveled over 20,000 kms to Tier II and III cities to strengthen their startup ecosystems.
His expertise includes instructional design, entrepreneurship education, and consulting with academic institutions to establish robust entrepreneurship frameworks.
Uday's interests in research, publication, and experiential pedagogy align with his goal of creating and supporting startups.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Uday enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and is dedicated to expanding entrepreneurial potential among the youth.
