Uchenna Amajoyi is a Nigerian-American UCLA alum with a degree in World Arts & Cultures. He is a social/collaborative artist, actor, creative writer, ABA specialist, ASD advocate, and 'entrepreneurial entertainer.' Originally from San Bernardino, CA, he has lived in various places like Los Angeles, the East San Francisco Bay Area, and Phoenix, Arizona.
Uchenna has over 5 years of experience working with autistic and developmentally-challenged youth in Applied Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician and Special Education Paraeducator. Additionally, his diverse background includes roles as a production assistant, actor, office assistant/receptionist, and creative collaborator, with a keen interest in networking and advancing within the entertainment industry.
He has held leadership positions in Umu Igbo Unite (UIU), a prominent Igbo Nigerian-focused social and professional networking non-profit organization, serving as Secretary for both the Bay Area and Los Angeles chapters.
Uchenna's education includes a B.A. in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA, a High School Diploma from Aquinas High School, a Certification of Completion in Special Education and Teaching from iTeach, and a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from Northern Arizona University.
His professional experience spans various organizations such as Arizona Teacher Residency, JAVA ABA, Upwork, Central Casting, Scottsdale Unified School District, Maxim Healthcare Group, Positive Behavior Supports Corp., Advanced Autism Services, STAR of California, Juvo - Autism + Behavioral Health Services, and more.
He has also been involved in creative projects like 'I Am A Joy' at the AT&T Create-A-Thon, 'Fool's Paradigm' at AT&T Create-A-Thon SF, 'Bubba Comes To Dinner' at AT&T Entertainment Project SF, as well as working on productions with Vibrancy Studios, Delirio Films, For All Eyes Always (FAEA), and others. Uchenna has interned at RPM Talent Group/The Agency and Velocity Entertainment Partners.
