Tyrone Farillas

Tyrone Farillas is a seasoned professional with over 21 years of experience in law enforcement, serving in various leadership roles within the Salt Lake City Police Department.

Tyrone Farillas holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Weber State University and an Associate of Science in the same field from Salt Lake Community College.

Throughout his career, Tyrone has demonstrated strong leadership skills, emphasizing integrity, effective communication, and team building to drive organizational success.

His roles at the Salt Lake City Police Department include Police Captain in the Operations Bureau, Pioneer Patrol Division, as well as in the Special Operations Division.

Tyrone previously served as a Police Lieutenant in the Administrative Support Bureau, Investigations Division, and the Operations Bureau, Watch Commander.

Prior to his promotions, he worked as a Police Sergeant in various departments including Administrative Services, Internal Affairs, Management Services, Training Unit, and Operations Bureau as a Patrol and Bike Sergeant.
