Ty Humes

Ty Humes is the Chief Growth Officer at The Center for Advancing Innovation Inc., a non-profit global public-private partnership that accelerates research commercialization in support of high-growth businesses. With a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Syracuse University and an Executive Program in Corporate Director and Governance from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Humes has a broad background and a wealth of experience in executive-level positions. Humes has worked in various corporations in different capacities, such as Senior Managing Director at TUDOR INVESTMENT CORPORATION, Director of International Trading Networks at MCI Communications, and Senior Executive Vice President at Pacific Title Archives.

Humes has also been involved in different fields outside of the corporate world, such as serving on the board of trustees at San Dieguito Union High School District, being a Traffic and Lunch Supervisor at Del Mar Union School District, and interning at ExxonMobil throughout his four years in college. In his role as CGO, Humes strives to support breakthrough technologies that benefit society and launch new markets by forming startups and nurturing newly formed companies.
