Troy Brewer

Troy Brewer is a marketing and advertising specialist who has dedicated over a decade of his professional life to promoting local businesses through an extensive network of community-based websites, social media outlets, and internet radio stations. His mission is to keep local residents informed about community events, promote tourism to the area, provide a low-cost and effective way for businesses to market their products and services, and serve as a centralized resource for important information. As the Marketing Director and Online Social Media Manager of the Discover Community Network, Brewer is responsible for managing the online community for each site, monitoring traffic, analyzing data, and determining what engages users. He is also a creative director and the founder of this community of websites. Brewer studied Digital Sound and Recording at Solano Community College. He has worked for Discover Las Vegas, Discover Reno-Tahoe, Discover Plumas County, and Discover Sacramento County, and served as a DJ and talk radio host for DCN Radio. Brewer's major accomplishment is the organic growth of each discover website in traffic and importance to the communities they serve.
