With a Bachelor of Social Work from McGill University and a High School Diploma from Little Flower Academy, Trisha has a strong educational background to support her aspirations in the field of human rights and social justice.

Trisha-mae Capistrano has an extensive history of involvement with various organizations dedicated to human rights and advocacy. Her roles include being an intern at the BC Human Rights Organization, advisor at The Global Spotlight Foundation, and engagement with renowned entities like UNICEF Canada, Amnesty International Canada, YWCA Metro Vancouver, Plan International Canada, and more. Trisha's diverse experiences reflect her commitment to social causes and her proactive engagement with organizations working towards a more equitable world.

As a former U-Report Ambassador at UNICEF Canada, Write for Rights Influencer and Human Rights College Planning Committee member at Amnesty International Canada, and National Organizer at Amnesty International Canada, Trisha has developed a profound understanding of the mechanisms involved in promoting human rights at both grassroots and international levels.

Trisha-mae Capistrano's leadership qualities and organizational skills have been demonstrated through her roles as former Director at One World One Heart Social Justice Conference, Director Of Operations at The Global Spotlight Foundation, Networking Director at The Global Spotlight Foundation, and as a mentor at YWCA Metro Vancouver's High School Mentorship Program.
