Provide strategic guidance for post purchase touch points, which include our IVR, FAQs (internal and external), email (operational and customer inbound), Chat for Service, Travel Update (OWW ) and our customer service agent desktop.   Act as a liaison between GCE and product & technology, with a focus on achieving high customer satisfaction, while coordinating an efficient and effective multi-channel program through strategic improvements in processes and tools.    Our team supports the many brands under the OWW umbrella, including:   Orbtiz, Orbitz for Business, Cheaptickets, Ebookers, Mr. Jet and Hotel Club and works very closely with technology, product and operations.

Initially joined the organization as a Senior Business Analysis, promoted to a Senior Manager supervising up to 19 software and XSL engineers, with primary focus on the Purchase component for the site.  Recognized with the “Power of One” award in 2004, for contributions leading to improved customer satisfaction and completing projects meeting and exceeding financial targets.  Projects delivered, include:  Purchase Redesign, Introduction of Travel Insurance to the site, revision of fee collection to utilize a merchant model including both VeriSign and ClearCommerce as vendors, Purchase Reporting Tool, and Dynamic Packaging.

Co-Founder of a travel technology firm with a mission, “to increase agency efficiency, productivity and profitability through the utilization of automation.”  Technical and analytical skills were used to work closely with a number of travel organizations throughout the country.    System integration projects included analysis of current processes; participation in development and implementation of new solutions, with an emphasis on the smooth organizational transition to these newly developed processes.  Projects included enhanced tools for call center and/or travel agent desktops, end-to-end solutions with a focus on financial flows, multiple GDS and multiple back office accounting system experience.
