Trevor McFedries

Trevor McFedries is a prominent figure in the intersection of technology, art, and entertainment. He is currently a Board Member at Rhizome, an organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of digital art and culture, where he has served since 2020. Rhizome operates as an affiliate of the New Museum in New York City and focuses on various initiatives such as commissions, exhibitions, and scholarship related to born-digital art.12

Born on November 27, 1985, McFedries, who previously performed as Yung Skeeter, has a diverse background in music and technology. He worked as a DJ and producer for well-known artists, including Katy Perry and Azealia Banks, and was an early employee at Spotify. In 2016, he co-founded Brud, a transmedia company known for creating the virtual pop star Lil Miquela. Brud was acquired by Dapper Labs in 2021, leading McFedries to become the CEO of Dapper Collectives, which focuses on decentralized organizations (DAOs) in the digital space.234

In addition to his role at Rhizome, McFedries is also a board member at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and has been involved in various entrepreneurial and artistic projects that explore the future of digital storytelling and culture.123
