Trevor Lofthouse

Trevor Lofthouse is an experienced NPI leader with a successful track record in manufacturing, design for manufacturability, quality, and regulatory compliance. With a BA in Management Engineering from Claremont McKenna College and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, Lofthouse has a rich educational background and a wealth of experience in the industry. He is currently a Principal Hardware Engineer at Cruise, a role he landed after serving as a Staff Hardware Engineer in the company. Before that, he held senior positions in engineering, manufacturing, and operations at Matterport, Tarsus Medical, Acumen Medical, and Bacchus Vascular.

As a Principal Hardware Engineer at Cruise, Lofthouse is responsible for leading new product introduction (NPI) efforts, ensuring that products are designed for manufacturing and meet strict regulatory requirements. His expertise in manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance, has helped him to optimize product design, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
