Tres Mullis
Vice President for College Advancement
Clarence “Tres” Mullis is the Vice President for College Advancement at Gettysburg College. He assumed this role on February 24, 2020, succeeding in a position that involves overseeing development, alumni relations, and parent relations at the institution.
Mullis has a substantial background in higher education development, boasting over 25 years of experience. Prior to his current position, he served as the executive director of university development at Washington and Lee University, where he successfully led a $500 million fundraising campaign. His previous roles include leading fundraising efforts at Peabody College of Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University and managing the alumni relations and development program at Austin Peay State University. Additionally, he has experience working in development for his alma mater, Stetson University.1
Mullis became involved with Gettysburg College in 2013 as a parent of a current student, initially providing observations and recommendations for the college's parent fundraising program. His commitment to the college's mission and community has been recognized by President Robert W. Iuliano.1
