    Trena Simons, MPH, is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with a diverse background in public health, education, and environmental biology/geology.

    She holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Epidemiology from the Colorado School of Public Health, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Environmental Biology/Geology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and studied Secondary Science Education at Metropolitan State College of Denver.

    Trena has been actively involved in various organizations including the Colorado Public Health Association and the Colorado Environmental Health Association.

    Her professional experience includes roles such as Regional Epidemiologist, Lead Covid-19 Community Outbreak Investigator, Environmental Health Specialist, and Vector-borne Disease Specialist in different health departments across Colorado.

    She has also served as a Secondary Science Teacher at Denver Public Schools, a Field Biologist at Ottertail Environmental Inc., an Educator at Downtown Aquarium, and a Marine Mammal Intern at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

    Trena Simons is known for her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in diverse settings and with different populations.
