Travis Kerns

Travis Kerns is an Associate Professor of Apologetics & World Religions at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He specializes in teaching and research related to apologetics, world religions, and missiology. Dr. Kerns has a particular focus on Mormonism and has authored a book titled "The Saints of Zion: An Introduction to Mormon Theology".

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Kerns has practical experience in ministry and missions. He previously served as the Send City Missionary for Salt Lake City with the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. This position involved working in an area with a significant Mormon population, aligning with his expertise in Mormon theology and apologetics.

Dr. Kerns holds a Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where his studies concentrated on world religions with a specific emphasis on Mormonism.
